gland, dizzy and lost 20 pounds in a week after my second exposure . I was very scare within those three month. I did the RT-PCR test in the end of May(around two months after my last exposure) and the ELISA
and toes, night sweating, continuous losing weight,Gingivitis, losing hairs and come up with bunch of Purpura on my arms and knees. I read something on the internet about HIV CRFs( Circulating Recombinant Form) and URFs (Uniqure Recombinant Form) which could happen on co-infection or super-infection, So I wonder if that could happen on me since my two high risk sexual exposures are very close. And I was very unlucky to get infected twice. Is that possible the two different HIV strains recombined in my body to a new HIV strain which can not be detected by both ELISA and PCR? thanks for Doctor's answer in advance.
Neither the Abbott RealTime nor the Roche COBAS AmpliPrep/COBAS TaqMan HIV-1 assay is intended to be used as a donor screening test for HIV-1 or as a diagnostic test to confirm the presence of HIV-1 infection.

My negative test result was from COBAS TaqMan HIV-1 assay . Does that test mean anything for the detecting HIV-1 infection? Or it is just not having enough sample for screening the whole HIV strain coverage ? How about ELISA test? is that possible to have false negative result? What do you suggest me to do if I am still feeling wrong with my body even both tests result are negative? Thanks for your time and answer.
By medical guidelines any approved test such as Elisa yields a conclusive result, if negative, at the 3rd month post-exposure or beyond. False positive may occur by then but not false negative.
Thanks for your reply. I was wondering if ELISA can also detect a recombination HIV virus or mutation one.I heard that ELISA is used for detecting the antibody of HIV.Does Seroconversion happen on all the cases even though the virus has mutated? Sorry...I am really feeling well with my body.
Your conclusive negative is conclusive, don't overthink about this. Your diseases have nothing to do with HIV. I suggest you consult a doctor for those.
