HIV Exposure risk/concern???

by worriedLJ, Nov 10, 2009 12:30PM
Hello

Thanks for you help in advance.

This is my situation..I have had sex with som escorts, always using a condom but had unprotected oral. But recently I had sex with an escort which was again Protected but i noticed that i had a cut on the shaft of mey penis just below where the condom finished. This I believe was due to meet shaving an hour before.

My question is this..is my previous exposure a concern but more importantly my recent episode with the small cut on the base area of my penis a concern in catching HIV?? even if she is Positive? or do you need deeper conatc with vag secreations ect??

I am really concerned!

Thanks

Can anyone help with my querie?

Thanks

Sure but you have to be patient, we answer questions for free and on our own time.

You used a condom, no matter what cuts you had where you did not have a risk. Normal cuts do not provide a viable route for transmission.

Hi Sorry vance

I was meant to add the question on my original post!

Thanks for helping me. So just to clarify if HIV exposed secreations were to toch my cut on my penis whilst 'thrusting' this would be ok? the cut was near the bas of my shaft?

thank you all and once again..

Also is it true your chance of catching hiv is 1/1000

Odds stated by the Dr is 1/1000 when having unprotected sex vaginal sex and that is if the person has HIV.

Yes it would be ok for fluids to get to a cut anywhere on your body because cuts are not a risk.

Thanks Vance

I have read in previous threads that people keep pestering for answers..I don not want be part of that group but have a 2 further questions that will conclude my thread?

1. HIV risk still Zero even if the cut was on a vein in the penis?

2. A year ago I was giev a hand job by an african sex worker who spat on the base of my penis to create a lube..is this to zero risk?

Again thankyou and this will be my last post..

cheers
