HIV Extreme Anxiety

Hi there,

About just over two weeks ago, I was pretty drunk and met this Filipino girl in a bar in whilst I was away for a short break in Asia (unknown status). Long story short, she came back to my hotel room. I ended up giving her oral sex for quite some time and she came. I then rolled over and she began to give me unprotected oral sex but I stopped after five minutes. When we woke up, she gave me unprotected oral sex and I came in her mouth. We never had penetrative sex as I did not have any condoms. She didn't want to have sex without a condom from memory.

As it is, I am in a relationship. I've been avoiding sex with my partner (I told her that I had been to a massages parlor and received oral sex as I couldn't stand the idea of her being at risk. I did not mention about giving oral sex to another woman) but this weekend we went out and we ended having unprotected sex together. I am now pretty damn terrified that I may have given her HIV. I have no symptoms (STD like or otherwise) and I am planning to test in a couple of weeks (not even sure if this is necessary).

Can HIV be contracted by giving a woman unprotected oral? What about the unprotected oral sex on me? There was also a lot of physical contact (kissing etc) but I'm not worried about this at all. I know my penis never got close to her *****.

Incidentally, I think she may have been a sex worker (she asked me for some money in the morning) buy she was hanging out in the bar and she didn't have condoms with her. She also said that she hadn't slept with any anyone for awhile. Not sure if that makes any difference.

I've really screwed up and as you can imagine, this is a damn difficult between my girlfriend and me. I just need some sound advice to alleviate my extreme anxiety about her :(

Relax. You did not have a risk with the kissing, unprotected fellatio and the unprotected cunnilingus. But as told in your earlier posting in two years ago, unprotected fellatio does carry risk for other STDs. Might want to do a panel for those. Be well.

Thanks ever so much. I'm aware of the other STDs but was planning on waiting to get tested. I had no intention of sleeping with my girlfriend, it just all went wrong this weekend. Got so much anxiety forgot to read through previous posts. Thanks again!
