HI, I am 24 year's old had sex with a sex worker few month's back and I undergone WB and tridot test at 80 day's post exposure nd the result was non-reactive but I am suffering from sever throat infection,cough nd cold. I used a condom while having sex but the condom broke. Is the result of  WB nd Tridot r conclusive r do I need to retest again using latest generation test. Another thing I want to know is that tridot is a 2nd generation test so can It detect antibodies at 3 month's post exposure.Can tridot be compared to 4 th generation tests. Please help me regarding this.

Your 80 days test is almost conclusive. For your added reassurance, get another test after two more weeks and throw all your fears away permanently.

a conclusive test result can be obtained at 84 days post exposure.   you are just 4 days short of this...it is HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHLY unlikely that your negative test result will change...just not going to happen.

your throat infection is not hiv related.

Last question just for my knowledge does test like tridot(2nd generation test) also detects antibodies at 3 month's post exposure just like elisa(4th generation test).
