If you believe you have been exposed to HIV and want help to judge your risk, would like advice about HIV testing, or have questions about the effectiveness of condoms or risks associated with specific sexual practices, this is the site for you.
Very good question, althoguh people here avoid to answer/explain more elaborate/legitimate questions like yours.
Anyway, as for my research, this would be a no risk situation because of the difficult for the virus enter your bloodstream in this manner, once our body is projected to protect itself from microorganisms entering, sealing even brandnew cutsCuts and puncture wounds.
Also as for information I gathered here and in some other sites, the transfer of blood from one human to another demands almost perfect situations, once the access to the veins is not so shallow.
Lastly, the cells in your finger are not likelly to be the target for the virus.
Nevertheless, an expert answer could be added, once you posted a simple, legitim an elucidated question.
"HIV isn't so easily transmitted. Minor cuts and trivial blood exposures simply don't create a measurable risk. Like many persons, you seem to think that "just one virus" is enough to transmit the infection. That is not the case. Substantial amounts of infected blood or secretions have to be introduced into the body in a way that exposes certain cells to the virus. If HIV could be transmitted in the ways you are worrying about, AIDS would be 100 times more common than it is.
Is it the same with my incident? Am I still no risk of HIV transmission?
I had received frottage from a girl. I don't know what if she had menstrual blood because the light was too dark. Assume that she had menstrual blood, and there were possible abrasions during frottage.
Thanks for reading.
you have been assessed by this forum as not having a risk of contracting hiv. this forum has done it's job and has nothing left to offer. your ocd and/or lack of ability to accept these facts are not a concern to us.
kindly move on...as your continuing to post questioning a no risk situation is against the posting guidelines for this forum.
Lizzie, I am SURE that you are a VERY nice and kind person, really. But it says in the guide lines from MH:
* This HIV Community is a place to DISCUSS HIV Prevention based upon the criteria established by MedHelp’s doctors.
An Internet forum, or message board, is an online discussion site (WIKIPEDIA). Debate or debating is a formal method of INTERACTIVE and representational argument
This has nothing to do with my OCD (the eager for information has nothing to do with OCD, read about it
My no risk situation is behind me and I am not asking about that anymore (just read my lines). I just wanted to be part of the discussions, arising plausible doubts and situations to be explained and ease the worries of the members, CORROBORATING the direction of experts of MH and MH, not disagreing.
Debating is healthy.
Anyway, I notice this is a YES or NO place (no much BECAUSES), with just a handful of allowed ones to answer questions.
I disagree with the way some people here CUT the discussions of very anxious and worried people.
And of course I am to "small" to go against it. I give up. I will abstain myself from now.
YOU INDEED DO GREAT JOB (I JUST DON´T AGREE WITH SOME POSTURES AND TRIED TO GIVE A SUGGESTION FOR BETTER)
FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART, GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL (SPECIALLY YOU LIZZIE).

However, it really is NOT helpful when individuals such as yourself disseminate information "off the cuff" without fully understanding what it is you're typing. Even more dangerous is offering outright incorrect infomation or data. You claim to understand the "anxiety" of people posting here for infomation. If this is true, you must also be sympathetic to the fact that these people need accurate information delivered in a therapeutic and appropriate manner. After reviewing many of your replies, I can't help but observe much of your "advice" is medically or scientifically unfounded and emotionally driven. I believe your intention is to help out here. If this is true, I would encourage you to educate yourself more thoroughly regarding HIV transmission, statisitcs, etc.
If you do indeed have a question or do have some basic accurate information to offer someone here, it's always encouraged for you to participate. When you offer incorrect information or other non-factual or anxiety driven replies, you must be prepared to be questioned or sanctioned by some of the Medical Professionals, HIV Educators, Activists, Etc. here who are very well versed in all aspects of HIV and who take their respective roles extremely seriously.
Please consider what I've written as a friendly nudge and encouragement to educate ourself further so you may be able to be a viable HIV/AIDS education resource in the future.

Very strange that a doctor would place such a comment
But ok, once someone bleeds outside the body the virus almost instantly deactivates.
I wonder, what or how much would be a substatial amount of blood? A drop with a hig viral load would be substantial?
