HIV Infection Risk

Hi,

I got in to unprotected sexual activity with a CSW about 3 months back. I fingered her for about 5-10 minutes. No deep kissing / oral / intercourse.

Now I had fever 2 days back. Malaria test was negative. But CBC indicated a very low WBC count of 2.3, compared to a normal of 5+. I also developed some rash on my hands. This has more or less gone. Not more than 10 - 15 % is left. Slight red spots. No flaking / blisters. I have already taken a HIV test today. But I'm very very nervous. Thoughts of suicide / going away from my family are crossing my mind.

What are my chances ?

You never had any exposure from that incident. Your fever and rashes have nothing to do with HIV. Your CBC WBC result is pretty fine with me. You no need HIV tests. Relax mate you're absolutely fine. You didn't get HIV from that incident.
