HIV Rash Location

Hi,

I engaged in oral sex with a female escort in which i gave her vagina a good 'Tongue Lashing'. Anyway, roughly about 3 to 4 weeks later i developed a small rash on my forehead (about  4 spots). The next day around 5 spots appeared on my left cheek while later my right cheek started to break out in them as well (8 spots). No other rashes or spots appeared anywhere else and was just confined to my forehead & cheeks and there were no other symptoms present. This lasted roughly three weeks before clearing up and the rash was just flat (no raised blotches) and were individual spots - not joined together.

Anyway, while the general oppinion is that 'I did not have a risk' and 'its not an HIV rash' i'm just curious as to whether an HIV rash 'COULD' appear on just the face only as all the things i have read (silly of me) is so confusing and seems to either point to a generalised rash covering the torso and onto the neck & face but other sites state it can appear localised on the torso, or the neck or the face etc.

Oral sex is NOT a risk for HIV. It IS a risk for other sexually transmitted diseases and I would urge you to have a full STD panel done. It is recommended that anyone who engages in oral sex have a full panel done every three months for prevention.
