Hi,
I had protected vaginal sex with a female sex worker 13/14 weeks ago. I stupidly recieved a blow job without a condom though so went for a STD test 5 weeks later, accompanied with a HIV test, both were negative. This was a normal anti-body test I presume. At that time I had a bad sore throat, cough, mouth ulcer and a cold. 7 weeks after I saw the escort I had bad sickness, flu, diaheria, night sweats. Only symptoms I haven't had is a fever for a few days and haven't felt any swollen nodes. Had anxiety for a bit a while back but got over it and moved on, coz after all I did use protection for the sex.
But now I have a wierd burning sensation in my face and it looks a little red. It doesn't really hurt, my face just feels a bit hot. Could this be anything to do with HIV? The sex worker said she had no STD's or HIV and was tested regularly - she was right about being clear of any STD's I suppose.
What are the % chances of this sex worker having HIV? i.e. - 1 in 100, or 1 in 200 etc etc?
Kind Regards, Michael from United Kingdom
