HIV Remission. Is there risk?

My girlfriend is HIV+. She insists that we have sex without a condom. In fact, she refuses to do it any other way. I tell her its foolish, because I may become infected.  Her answer is that her HIV is in remission, due to antivirals. I'm not sure what this means, but she says I have nothing to worry about. Is she right? Can I still get it, despite her treatment?

If you're really serious....you need to find a new GF.

Her insistence that you not use a condom is irresponsible and ridiculous.  YES, you still can become infected.

If you have had unprotected sex with her...test at 12 weeks post the last exposure for a conclusive result.

If she doesn't change her ways.....and you cannot convince her as to why using protection is important....dump her a$$.

mmm...ok...Dude...you seriously need to get up out of there.  Not because she has HIV, but because she knows she has it and wants you to not use condoms.  Go find something else....now.
