HIV Risk - Oral Sex

Hi there - I am panicking a bit.  I am a gay male who had a casual encounter this morning (unprotected oral sex only).  Unfortunately he did not warn me that he was close to ejaculating and I got some of his semen in my mouth.   I spit it out immediately but am now very worried about HIV.  He told me he was negative and "clean" but I'm worried as I had also just brushed my teeth.  Any advise is appreciated!   I always tend to be very careful and this is freaking me out!

Hi, oral sex is no risk for contacting HIV. The risk is from unprotected insertive  vaginal/anal sex. sharing IV drug needles and mother to child. You have nothing to be concerned about at all.

Oral sex is always very low risk, probably zero for practical purposes. Even swallowing infected blood or fluids is low risk. Almost nobody ever gets HIV from events like this one. Don't worry about it.
