womenWomen's way who's history I do no know at all. This was exactly three months ago. The actual act lasted no more than 2 minutes. There was no other activity besides french kissing. We parted ways; I have no way of contacting her.
I have read many posts and have come to understand the mathematical probabilities. Less than 1/2000 chance if she was HIV+ X 1/1000 chance of her

Evening primrose oil having HIV, etc. However, there are a couple issues that have caused great stress and anxiety.
1: During the actual acitivity, I proceeded to withdraw before exaculating. When I told her I was about to "cum" she said "that's the good thing, you can". That statement horrified me. Why would any girl say it was ok? I understand if she might not be worried about getting pregnant, but to not be worried about getting an STD??? That's when I stopped.
2: At about three weeks after the encounter, I developed what I believed to be thrush or somethign similar. I had noticed an ulcer in my cheek, then a patchy part on my tounge. When I scraped that off it hurt. Later that night I noticed a bit of a low grade

Jock itch
Swollen lymph nodes in the groin area. I had never experienced any discharge, sores or the like on or from my penis. I felt a bit tired that day as well. All symptoms cleared up within about 2-3 days of the onset. The exact same symptoms occurred 2 weeks later and have not returned since.
3: We met at a gay event.
2 months later, I had my annual physical exam with full CBC and blood workup. I'm a very healthy individual so was surprised to have experienced that thrush like episode (I had been working very hard, stressed, little sleep during that time). I have never had any STD prior to this. I have had cankers before but not in many years.
I went for a complete STD test yesterday but my anxiety is overwhelming. I've had no other abnormal symptoms than those listed above.
My rhetorical question about her comment came from my fear thinking that in her mind, she was already HIV+ so it was ok if I ejaculated. There could be other reasons, of course. Still, no less stressful to hear this.
I do have a followup question . . . during the period of MSV, is the infected person's immune system compromised for a period causing the early HIV symptoms in some people? Or is it the other way around . . . the infected person's immune system goes into overdrive trying to combat the infection and it's that reaction that causes systems in those people? I ask this because I know thrush or yeast, etc. is usually a result of a compromised immune system due to diabetes, hiv, (hopefully, in my case, sleep and fatigue), etc.
Sincerely,
M
