HIV Risk From Touching Blood?

Today I went and got re-tested for my own piece of mind, it was negative. They used a Inst 1 minute test which was quick and easy.

On the way out of the clinic I noticed a small bit of blood on one of my fingers on the oppersite hand to where the test was done.

I was bleeding slightly from the needle ***** from the test but did not remember any blood coming into contact with my other hand, I was not offered a plaster at any point.

My question, and i may be being paranoid as was extreamly anxious from going through the test process etc but if I got a small bit of blood off a door handle or off the chip and pin machine when i paid what would the risk of contamination be?

I have a very small cut, minor dry skin on the finger where the blood was found.

Many Thanks

i'll expand.

first off...your "thinking" is irrational.
secondly...hiv is not transmitted from environmental surfaces.
