HIV Risk? I Need Answers, Please.

Hello everyone, I've been extremely worried over the past couple of months about a potential HIV risk.
Approximately 3 months ago, I began fooling around with a guy I have known for several years. He is 20 and attends college in the Midwest, I don't know the ins and out of his sexual history. We were in a pool, and he penetrated me underwater, unprotected for 10 seconds at the most. No ejaculation occured inside of me whatsoever. However, I am aware that HIV is capable of being found in pre-seminal fluids.
According to the guy, he had been tested for every possible disease before trying to enter the armed forces and was clean of all STDs. I'm trying to take his word for it, but I'm extremely nervous.
I've had no symptoms of initial HIV infection. I'm sure the odds are extremely slim considering the chlorinated water and the absence of ejaculation. He is the only sexual parter I have had any unprotected contact with.
I'm probably overreacting, but a little reassurance would be great.

Now I'm just...scared. This behavior was just so out of character for me, and I never thought about HIV until now. We're both very young, and the odds are extremely low...I don't know what to do :( My gut tells me I'm perfectly fine, as always.

Thank you for the quick reply. I'm hesitant to take a test, just because I'm literally NOTORIOUS for worrying and being a hypochondriac over these types of things. I know the odds are most definitely in my favor given the conditions, the guy telling me he had been tested, and it being a one-time encounter (which I researched online and the odds of contracting the virus from a one time encounter WITH ejaculation are about 1 in 1,000, so imagine my odds without ejaculation occuring, you know?)

If you were in my situation, would you honestly take a test?

the "odds" are definitely in your favor...BUT...you did have unprotected sex.

a test at 3 months post exposure will give you a conclusive test result.

until you are in a monogamous relationship where both of you have tested...ALWAYS use condoms.  sex lasts a few minutes...HIV LASTS A LIFETIME
