HIV Risk of Infected Nail

HIV Risk of Infected Nail

Hello, so my thumb had been bitten by a dog and the middle of the nail was ripping away. I had been picking at it and pulling at it for a while and it ha an area with scabs and maybe wetish blood, the nail was missing mostly and the underskin was the only thing exposed. But whenever I put on a band-aid there would be like white goo that had grown on it, it was definatly infected, but by this point had mostly not been infected just still been pretty sensitive and it had open spots. I had been wearing a band aid for about an hour or two before the encounter and then it fell off and was soft because it was exposed and moist. I am interested to know what my HIV risk is and how long is a good amount of time to wait to be tested.
