HIV Symptoms

its been 6 days now since unprotected sex, I have spots on my thighs, I am itching in other places, I am aching occasionally, especially my back, is there any chance this could be an hiv infection? Sometimes I worry that I could be diagnosing myself with it.

Furthermore, after nine days, I think I have swelling in the neck, its not really painful but I can feel something not right when I touch the area, plus I have earache.

I have ache pains in my neck, shoulders and back still, sometimes I have pains in my stomach.

I'm really scared

According to Dr. Hunter ARS is typically 10-20 days post exposure; and none of it's symptoms even come close to what you are describing.

Hi there,

6 days is kind of a liitle to early and are not specific for HIV(ARS). HIV is diagnosed through a blood test, not through signs and symptoms. Do not scare yourself with the illnesses

If you have unprotected intercourse, you can go for a HIV test 1 month after exposure and retest at the 3rd month for a conclusive result.
