HIV TEST HELP

Hi, i got tested for hiv at 12 weeks and 2 days after a needle incident and my result is Negative, i remember on the sheet which was given by my Gp before having the test said Antigen p24 hiv1 and Hiv2. i just wanted to know if the right test was used because i read antigen p24 is for early hiv detection and they gave me the wrong test, I live in the UK and wanted to know if my 12 weeks and 2 days ....86 days negetive result is fine using the p24 antigen test. you have been given a test which tests for the p24 antigen as well as antibodies for hiv1 and 2..
you have a conclusive result

p24 antigen is for hiv-1 type which appears earlier than antibodies
antibody for hiv-1 & 2 appears well before 3months mark
you are negative..move on

sounds like you had a combo test which would be conclusive.

Im sorry to ask but whats combo? i mean is it the  same as the other blood test, is my Result at 86 days accurate? is the test which they tested me with at 12 weeks and 2 days which came out Negative fine.? or did they use the wrong test on me.?

combo test means u had a combined test for antigen p24 as well for hiv antibodies as i already mentioned to you earlier
u had a CONCLUSIVE and RELIABLE test result
