HIV TEST REPORT

6 months after the possible exposure with a prostitute in Dubai I have done a HIV 1&2 Antibody & p24 Antigen Combo Test. The test result is given below:-

HIV 1 / HIV 2 Antibody & p 24 Antigen Combo Test:-

Index Value    0.11
Result            Non Reactive

Index Value    :   1.00 Provisionally Reactive

Comments:   This HIV ag/ab Combo Test is based on chemiluminescent microparticle immunoassay (CMIA).  It utilizes recombinant HIV Antigens and HIV p24 monoclonal antibodies coated on microparticled to camture antibodies against HIV 1 / HIV 2 and HIV p24 antigen, respectively.  Detection of p24 antigen prior to seroconversion facilitated early detection of HIV infection.

Interpretation:  A NON REACTIVE result implies that no Anti HIV 1 or Anti HIV 2 antibodies have been detected in the sample by this method.  This means that either the patient has not beem exposed to HIV 1 or HIV 2 infection or the sample has been tested during the 'WINDOW PHASE' (Before the development of detectable levels of antibodies). Hence, negetive test result does not exclude the possibility of exposure to or infectrion with HIV 1 / HIV 2.

Recomendation:

1.  Post test counselling between 9.30 am to 10.30 a.m. at main/satellite laboratory.
2.  Result to be clinically correlated.
3.  Rarely false negetive or false positivity may occur. HIV PCR Qualitative test is recommended for conformation.

Report Completed.

Test requested HIV 1&2 (MEIA).

What is this test report meaning: This test result is negetive? Please advise me.  I am verymuch worry. Because I cannot understant this test report.

time for you to move on buddy ! !

you did NOT have a risk for hiv from receiving oral sex... yet you have continued to not only post about it...but also add to ppl's anxiety by giving out incorrect information.
