hi again and sorry for reposting and taking others time but i couldnt let off the internet and read many studies stating that HIV tests may give false negative result with rare strains or types . How common is that and how can you know if you are infected with a rare strain ?
The sample was run by an analyzer & the results read out. It's totally accurate.
so you mean not by human ? Would it stay accurate ?
Your test was ran by an analyzer.
ok thank you but please tell me they told me the test is automated and i got the result in the same day . What does automated means . Is it accurate ?

In an adult, a positive HIV antibody test result means that the person is infected, a person with a negative or inconclusive result may be in the “window for 4 to 6 weeks but occasionally up to 3 months after HIV exposure. Persons at high risk who initially test negative should be retested 3 months after exposure to confirm results
That's because your doctor doesn't know what hes talking about. 6 Months is extinct like the dinosaures.
but the doctor told me to retest at six months why he asked me that is he playing the extra safe game ?
