HIV Testing

Hi,

My most recent possible HIV exposure happened 2 months (on 12th March, 2014) ago for less than 5 seconds which involved unprotected vaginal dipping (sure that no intercourse/deep penetration happened) and an open mouth kiss. Below are the screening results I had on 14-May-2014. Would you please suggest If I need to have one or few more screening in the next few days as I read that 3 month and/or 6 month mark is conclusive?

HIV 1+2 AB+HIV1P24 AG, EIA - Non Reactive (both).

Thanks,
Worried User!

Hi Teak,

One more question. I have setup an appointment to take a blood at 15th week of exposure. Mean while just to ease my mind, I did three more Oraquick Swab tests (64 days, 71 days & 77 days) which all came negative. My question is, how accurate are these negative results. Is there a chance that this can be false negative (I know before 3 months in not-conclusive. I am trying to check if we can rely on these home testing oraquick kit for further evaluation after 3 months).

I read in some post of yours where you said these oraquick were not appropriate some time ago but they corrected it recently. My device was manufactured in april 2012 with an expiry of april-2015. Do you think these devices show correct results?
