HIV Transmission from Vaginal Fluid into my anus.

HIV Transmission from Vaginal Fluid into my anus.

Hello Doctor.

I am a little concerned. I went to a massage parlor and she put a condom on me and started to bring my penis(with condom on) up to her vagina. I only wanted a blow job, not sex. I stopped her before she put it inside, but i believe my penis touched the outside of her vagina, and could have possibly had some vaginal fluid on the tip of the condom. She then gave me oral sex for 5-10 minutes. After that she took off the condom and put it on her fingers, then put it in my anus an inch or so to stimulate prostate. I don't believe she turned the condom inside out so I'm really worried that some vaginal fluid might have gotten into my anus this way. I am concerned that if she has HIV/AIDS that I could have been infected through my anus.  I am extremely worried!! Thanks for your help.

One more question: I have had protected sex with 6 different escorts in the last year, with no condom breaking. Is it possible that when she took my condom off her vaginal fluid could have gotten on my penis and into my urethra and infected me with HIV, assuming she has HIV.?

Thank you so much Doctor. I plan on stopping these sexual encounters, and have recently started Sex Addicts Anonymous.  Thanks in advance for your responses!!

Welcome to our Forum.  If I read your post correctly, you had an encounter with a commercial sex worker during which a condom was placed on your penis and in which there was no vaginal penetration on your part (your condom, covered penis may have "touched" here vagina).  During the encounter you received oral sex (with a condom on), following which she place the condom over her fingers while they were inserted in your anus. Your concern is that the insertion of the condom which had been in her mouth and may have touched her vagina could have transferred secretions to you during the time her fingers were in your anus.  This simply is not something for you to be concerned about.  There are many, many reasons for this but the bottom line is that HIV infections are not caused by the transfer of secretions from one person to another on hands or inanimate objects.  This was a no risk exposure.  You do not need to be concerned and do not need testing.

As for your second question, as long as the condoms remained intact, your condom protected sex was virtually no risk.  You do not need to be concerned that you might have been infected during the process of taking your condom off either.

I hope this helps.  Take care.  EWH

Thank you very much. You mentioned that their are many reasons why I don't need to be concerned about this. Do you mind telling a few of those reasons, for additional peace of mind? I'm also just curious why vaginal secretions on a condom can't cause HIV infection when inserted into the anus. Thank you so much.
