HIV Window Period - 12 weeks or 90 days?

Hi,

This is a post from Hong Kong. I got a HIV rapid test 88 days after an exposure and tested negative. Anyway, I found the official medical department suggests the window period for HIV is 90 days(3 months). May I know is there any difference between 88 days and 90 days? I am really worried about this two-day difference and thinking of getting testing again.

thanks for anyone who is willing the resolve my anxiety.

4x3=12 weeks. 365/12=30.146. 30.146x3=91.25 days. It's just in the way the math is done. 3 months is 3 months. The US is the only place that they calculate by using days which is no different.
