HIV and Arthritis

Hi

I'm a bi-curious male.  My exposures have been unprotected oral, approx 2 episodes over 2 years, no exchange of fluids, never done anything else.  I am no longer active since last year.  Tested for regular STIs last year, didn't test for HIV as the public health nurse didnt think it was recommended based on my exposure.  My only other risk factor would be an allergy shot that i get, otherwise nothing else has gotten into my bloodstream or body.

Since Dec I've experienced swollen joints in both of my feet.  As the left was aching left the right started.  Dr took an x ray and gave me a diagnosis of arthritis in two joints, not definitive which type.  I've done some browsing and noticed a link between HIV and arthritis.  Again I don't believe I have an HIV risk however I would  get tested if there a symptom that is compelling.  Could anyone comment on what stage arthritis would appear, would it be the only symptom or would this be part of generalized AIDS with other symptoms appearing.  Like I said, I've had it since Dec and I've never been sick with anything before so its got me a bit concerned.

I know oral is low risk, maybe I got it from my allergy shot or maybe I'm the 1 in 10000.  Please don't repeat it, the question is about hiv and arthritis.

You didn't have a low risk, you didn't have a risk at all. Your symptoms have nothing to do with HIV.

Thanks. Receptive oral is low risk not no risk. Symptoms in conjunction with risk profile can be used to indicate whether a person should test.  My question is regarding HIV related arthritis/joint pain, typical timeline and its occurrence with other symptoms.  Anyone out there have experience with this?

You were never at risk for HIV from an allergy shot or oral sex.
