HIV and condoms

Hi all,

This may be a dun question. I have had anal sex with a guy as a part of experimental sex (a am also a male). He was using condom as well as lubricant. The condom did not break, I can say that for sure, as we tested it afterwards.

I have read that condoms are not completely safe. Is there any reason to get tested for hiv after this ?

How unsafe is a condom if it is not broken ?

Thanks in advance.

the use of latex, polyurethane, or polyisoprene condoms protect against hiv transmission.
