HIV and diarrhea

So after foolishly posting this post in the wrong forums....

Hey all,

My last high risk exposure (with my boyfriend of one year who told me he tested HIV+) was in February. Broke up with him soon after. Since then I had a 6 week HIV test which turned out to be negative. About 2 weeks after the exposure I began having diarrhea, it's been over a month that I've been having the diarrhea now. No other common symptoms of HIV have shown up so far, and I do not believe I have an immune system that is compromised (with the exception of anemia). I had three questions:

1. Has anyone else experienced the onset of longstanding diarrhea and associated it with HIV?

2. Should this be a reason for me to panic?

3. Shoud one test at 12 weeks or 13 weeks? Does it matter?

1. Yes
2, No reason to panic, you should have used a condom.
3. Yes, testing at 13 weeks would be conclusive.

This might seem very silly- don't know if you could give me an accurate answer, but anyways. does HIV related diarrhea usually come coupled with other ARS symptoms? Also is the diarrhea of a certain kind- i.e. watery or mushy etc.  I know a doctor would probably be the best person to ask, but I thought I'd ask anyways.

Going in for a 12 week test in 19 days because my mind is killing me.

Diarrhea is one of the flu symptoms if you would have ARS. You cannot rely on symptoms to diagnosis HIV. HIV has no specific symptoms. 12-week test is considered conclusive depending on where you live. More than likely you're diarrhea is from nerves from worrying.

your six week negative is very encouraging, it's very indicative, it's highly unlikely that your result may change at the 12/13 week's test

Test at the 12/13 week and move on

I wish you all the luck
