HIV and open mouth kissing
Why do infectious disease doctors and dentist report HIV transmission through open mouth kissing is possible. I have only found evidence of one case from the CDC where a couple was infected through blood. Therefore, why do we quickly discredit those questions about deep or open mouth kissing? It makes sense if both party's have gum disease or gingivitis that the posinility could exist. Has there ever been any other claims out there to this mode of transmission? Also, with almost 20% of purple not knowing they have HIV. Doesn't the risk increase with the addition of high viral loads.
