HIV bloody bite exposure

Hello, I had a exposure at work

A patient was tackled by security he suffered a broken nose and was bleeding from his nose for about 39secs, when I went to pick him up, he bit my left hand some of the blood from his nose got into his mouth as it was dripping out, I noticed I had a blood on the spot that he bit me I quickly wash my hand and noticed a small superficial cut and a very very small amount of blood coming out , I was put on PEP like 2 hours after and it has been about 20 days, since day one my stress and anxiety level has been ridiculous, my eyes are yellow, i haven't been able to focus anymore, 2 weeks into pep I started to get a sore throat, jaw pain, ear pain and I can feel my pulse and I get these tingigiling sensation all over my body idk what else to do qnd I have 2 weeks to test

PEP can have some nasty side effects, but you were lucky that an assessment team was there and started you on PEP so quickly. Speak with your assessment team doctor about your side effects. There are medications they can give you to help.
I wish you the very best outcome!
