HIV exposure from barber shave using straight razor

Hi,

Yesterday I got a shave at a barbershop which resulted in a few small cuts around the chin.  I am fairly certain the blade was old as it felt a bit blunt, and i dont know if it had been washed.  My concern is about the nature of the razor- it wasn't a normal cut throat, but rather a blade mounted on a handle in a sort of home made way.

Is it possible that HIV infected blood could have remained active in a gap in this device, such as in a crevice between handle and blade, as in the way it can do so in a syringe, and then run down the blade during use? Or would it die before reaching the crevice and after leaving?  It is plausible to draw a parrallel between a syringe and this razor or are they totally different situations? Im fairly certain the blood couldnt then enter my wounds anyway but can you just confirm that (the barber was pressing my chin with his fingertips)?

Is this a "no risk" ?? Sorry- i suffer a lot of anxiety on the subject though I improve.
