of an unknown origin, It was a epidermal decolation though there was blood i guess, surely when I pressed circumferentialy (not on it ofcourse). I used medical alcohol for desinfection. The cut
though it's bottom was not perfectly linear as it should be in the case of a cut, after 16-20 days I began to cough, I can't say it is perfectly dry, there is a little excess of sputum. I have an inflamated cervical lymph-node, though I don't have nausea, malaise, fever, headache, mialgia, arthralgia, night sweatings, rash, etc.
Ok, I'm afraid not to had been cut by an infected object (outside the hospital for sure) and get hiv. You see what a stupid frightening coincidence. Yes, I had been drinking cold water from fridge for 3 days before the cough I admit, I usually don't do that.
Please help me because I think I have a cyberchondria, look here, I found that:
In the spring of 1986, a 24-year-old bisexual man presented with fever, markedly swollen cervical nodes and an exudative tonsillitis. He had dyspnea and cough with a normal chest radiograph. No pathogens were identified. It was thought that he might have the new disease called "acquired immunodeficiency syndrome" (AIDS), but a human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) antibody test was negative. He was treated for possible Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia, and his symptoms resolved in the ensuing two weeks. Three months later, he tested positive for HIV-1 antibody on enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), and the finding was confirmed by a Western blot test. He progressed to AIDS and died within 10 years.
Please help me someone, because I'm very upset that life is playing with my neurons and I realy hate these coincidences related to possible hiv contracting
I read your comments on the forum and I think you are a great person, believe me it is not flattery. But where the hell do I have thesse simptoms from? Is there any chances to get HIV from infected objects like razors needles and other things outside the hospital? Ofcourse not with sight but cutting yourself, please help, inform me. I am a medical student and I admit that I know a lot of info about hiv but it can't help as I can't truly appreciate the risks
