HIV from scratch?

Hi Doc! I posted last night on a possible exposure from a scratch but my post was deleted. I don't know why, I'm confused. None of my questions were answered. I attempted to break up a fight and when I returned home I saw that I had a scratch on my wrist. I do not know the status of anyone. I do not know if I was scratched by something or someone. I immediately washed my scratch with water and soap and put alcohol on it. There was no blood but I could see the white meat underneath my skin a bit. It is a little painful also. It is the size of the head part of the tip of a small nail (small). Here are my questions. Can you please answer: Thanks!

1.) Do I need to be tested for HIV?
2,) Can someone get HIV from a scratch?

Dr. Handsfield deleted your post because it was an example of excessive posting about exposures and situations in which there is no risk for HIV.  The exposure you describe above did not put you at risk either.  There will be no further answers to this post and repeated posts of this sort will also be deleted without comment.  EWH
