HIV has me scared

I am scared out of my mind because about 2 months ago i had unprotected sex with a girl that i fond out afterwards was a high end call girl. She was about the 6th person i have ever had sex with so it got me worried immedietly. I convinced her to take a STD test and her HIV came back negative but tested positive for syphilis initially. They had her do a TP-PA T.pallidum Ab TEST and it came back non reactive. Now i know that this should be good news but i have read that a false positive test for syphilis can be due to HIV. i also found out later that her Herpes test came back positive. Now i am really terrified because I am now having a sore throat, headache,small blister type rash on my penis and think i might have thrush. I know that i just need to get tested but the pure fear of thinking i could be HIV positive is holding me back. should i be worried?

You need to get tested now.A negative result would be a very good indicator as to where your at,and be very encouraging.Test for other STD,s obviously.Another plus is that her hiv test came back negative,however only an hiv test taken at 3months post-exposure will provide you with a conclusive result.Stop being afraid and take the test.Also,hiv is never diagnosed on the basis of symptoms alone.I wish you all the best.

2 months out you will be able to test almost with 100% certainty, some people say 6 weeks others say 2 months.

Odds are overwhelmingly in your favour that you did not contract HIV however. Please let us know the results.
