If you believe you have been exposed to HIV and want help to judge your risk, would like advice about HIV testing, or have questions about the effectiveness of condoms or risks associated with specific sexual practices, this is the site for you.
Also, would HIV show up in a mono test? Or would they know that something wasn't right if I tested negative for mono? My doctor didn't seem too concerned, but I was and too nervous to ask about it.
So if I had HIV, would there be a white flag (no pun intended) that would tip off the doctor that something wasn't up if the mono test was negative? I mean if my white blood count was low and I had a negative, wouldn't they feel the need to test for something else?
I had unprotected oral a while back and while she said she was HIV-, I worry about this kind of stuff.
And what I meant was not whether the test would show HIV in it, but if there would be a hint if the mono test came back negative. Maybe if there were low white blood cell counts, yet the test came back negative, wouldn't that raise a flag?
