HIV possibility (little penetration)

Hi -

A couple months ago, I met a woman at bar and (after having a little too much to drink), she took me into the bar bathroom where we began kissing, etc.  She began to pull out my penis, and there was contact with her vagina, although I never fully penetrated.  I'd say the tip of my penis (max) was there for about 30 seconds.

A couple days later, after some high anxiety after this encounter, I did have one evening of night sweats.  There were no other symptoms beyond that.

In brief:

No condom
No full penetration (but maybe the tip of my penis) for 30 seconds
Unknown status regarding infection of the female

What are possiblities for HIV contraction?

Thank you.

well you are the only one who knows if you penetrated her or not...we were not there    if you were only rubbing around with your penis...that is not a risk.  transmission takes place on the inside of the vagina.

Thank you.  To be clear, I cannot be 100% certain that even the head of my penis penetrated.  Part of the issue was that I was drunk (and could not get a full erection), and we didn't have alot of foreplay (and she wasn't very wet).  I am just a little nervous, and apperciate any and all feedback.

If you penetrated her vagina (meaning the head of your penis was INSIDE her vagina) then you placed yourself at risk and should test.  Granted, with minimal exposure you had, the odds are in your favor, however a risk is a risk.

You can test at 6-8 weeks after the incident for a good indication, then again at 3 months for a conclusive result.
