HIV prevention after unsafe sex within 24 hours

is there anything that you can do and take action within 24 hours of unsafe sex, to prevent HIV? if so, is it widely available in any local clinics? Any help will be great..

PEP if it was a high risk exposure you would need to start within 72 hrs

Thank you, is there any where i can find more information about PEP? Are they easily available? .. It was a high risk of exposure, and an act of stupidity. i would say the chances of the other partner having HIV is high too..

You need to see a health provider or  local hospital
Still what was the risk gay sex or what

Unless you know that the source was indeed HIV+ I doubt that any clinic or hospital will give you a prescription for PEP.
