HIV rapid test for antibodies

since we are all talking about testing for HIV I have a qestion, My boyfriend or should say EX Boyfriend called the other day saying that he cheated and was tested Positive for HIV which is a total bummer (understated), and tells me that I should be tested, now I did the math, I am a top which puts me at a lower risk but we had unprotected sex (stupid sex) 8-9 times during the whole relationship (5 months), it has been 45 days to the day since the last unprotected exposure to infection.I work at a hospital so I tend to get sick a bit but i havent had any symptoms(i.e. enlarged lymph nodes, rash, loss of weight or fever) I went to a gay mens clinic today and had a rapid test (pin prick) my results given to me which were negative (one blue dot), does anyone here know how accurate those tests are at this time in my "window period".
p.s. I know 3 months to confirm it, just not knowing the accuracy of those test keeps me up at night, like now being as its 2 am here haha
thanks for the help!

darn it, I kinda did the math wrong, 41-42 days and I had the INSTI RAPID HIV TEST, does that change anything?and on top of that I am not the healthiest person cause I am a smoker and get colds about 4 times a year and I am a little under weight(always been due to high metabolism) , and do you know percentage wise as to how accurate 6 week tests are? I hear 60% 80% 90% 92% and 98% and these percentages come from co-workers (RN'S) and at  the center that i went to  the nurse that admin the test said 97% and when i called back to confirm with someone else (another RN) he said 92%. I think the is a serious communication issue here. I guess my problem here is because i have never done this kind of test I am very insecure about it due to the lack of knowledge of it's accuracy and because of this i don't feel as relieved as I probably should....I am a very sexually active person and this is REALLY KILLING my sex life because i feel i might be infected and i wouldn't want to risk anybody's health no matter how low this risk is.

The rapid test is accurate that you took.  Your 6 week test is a good indacator that you were not infected with HIV, Test at 3 months and your result should be the same.

Relax, It is very unlikely for a 6 week test result to change.
