As you state yourself and were told by members, you are conclusive at 28 days and not 24. Your 24 day results are good news and most likely you will remain negative. However, you will need to test again at the earliest of 28 days. There is nothing to add to this until you are at the 28 day point and take your next test. We wish you the best and are closing this thread.

"I got my 4th generation test (p24 and Ab) on day 24 of exposure and it came negative. i heard we have to wait least 28 days for testing "
I'm very confident you heard that January 13th, the day I first replied.
Your test is very encouraging but not conclusive.
IMO, being MSM is the highest sexual risk for hiv, test again with an antibody test at 12 wks post condom break to play it safe.
Or follow the world health organization that say a 4th gen test is conclusive at 6 wks.
Did your specialist explain a testing strategy?
Your first encounter was protected sex from hiv being the condom did not break.
Your second encounter is the potential for hiv, If in fact she even has it.
Testing trumps symptoms and your tests to date are encouraging.
Many hiv experts consider a 4th generation test conclusive at 4 weeks while the cdc recommends a final antibody test at 12weeks to be conclusive.
Don't neglect to test for other stds.
Hiv rashes are described as non itch and acute hiv symptoms are non specific being they mirror many other possible causes so they are not reliable for diagnosis.
Your condom break was a risk and you should take a 4th generation test 28 days post possible exposure.
Most hiv experts would consider this conclusive.
CDC guidelines recommended a 4th generation test during the window period be followed by an antibody test at 12 weeks to be sure.
Until you test, try and not over analyse things.
Most women are not infected and it's not easily transmitted female to male if she was.
My reply was based on the Drs who used to post here and current CDC guidelines.
I assume the test they performed was looking for p24 antigen as well.
This is very encouraging but I don't have the background to call it conclusive and follow the guidelines already mentioned.
