HIV risk condom broke

Hi,

I'm very worried. I had sex this past weekend with some random girl I met at the bar. We were having sex everything was fine then I noticed my condom broke. I immediately pulled out. Might have done 1 or 2 thrusts while the condom was broken. I'm extremely worried  I may have contacted HIV or another STI. Please help me. What is the risk? I'm so stressed out about this I cant sleep or eat.

Thanks

That's correct, I should have made that clear. Very rarely do condom breaks result in HIV positive outcomes.

By positive outcome do you mean testing positive for HIV?

Well you do have a risk that requires testing but condom breaks rarely return a positive outcome.

You can test at 6 weeks for a good indication of your status and 12 weeks for conclusive results.
