HIV saliva test 3 weeks after possible exposure

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my question!  I had a possible exposure to HIV 3 weeks ago.  I went for a saliva HIV test today that was negative.  I know the window period is at least 6 weeks, but I couldn't wait any longer.  I have been very worried. What are the chances that this test could detect if I were infected?  Thank you!

You did not have a risk of contracting HIV.

Oral tests are not saliva tests, the test uses oral mucosal transudate.

Thank you!  It was an occupational exposure; blood to nonintact skin.  I know the risk is minimal, but still concerned.
