HIV symptoms please help

I ran into an ex who I hadn't seen in six years. He took the condomn off without me knowing and I didn't realize until he was ejaculating and I immediately moved him off me. About 5 weeks later I had flu like symptoms nausea, vomiting, and headache for about a week. I was so stressed thinking it was HIV. I haven't been able to eat or sleep. Then I developed a very light white coat on my tounge that I thought may be thrush. I went to my Doctor she took a culture of my tounge but did not treat it because she said she can barely see anything and she's not sure if its thrush. I did a rapid oral HIV test 7 weeks post exposure and it was negative. I also took a blood draw HIV test and she hasn't called me back with any results. They guy at the lab said the results usually take 72 hours but my Doctor hasn't called me. I now broke out with a rash on my upper back and shoulders small red itchy dots. I'm so stressed out I can't eat or sleep. Does anyone have any advice.

Thank you this experience is so stressful because I seem to be having HIV symptoms and I'm wondering why my Doctor didn't call me back with my results from my blood test it has been a week already

It's little less accurate because there are less antibodies found in the mouth but when used at the appropriate test windows it can give you a reliable result. 7 weeks is a good result. As James said you would be tested positive but you didn't.

So if the oral swab is the least sensitive does that meen it is the least accurate?

An oral swab is the least sensitive.   I always get an HIV test every year and my results never come in less than a week

I read that the oral swab rapid test was the least sensitive, do you still think it was accurate. Also do you know how long a positive HIV blood test takes to come back. Do you work in the hiv field?

A 7 week test is unlikely to change in the future. If whatever you're feeling was HIV, your test would've been positive.
