with a woman i met during a trip.
I'm not sure about her status whether she is infected with HIV or any other std.
But i'm thinking she has a high possible exposure since i met her at a bar.
STDs, all negative.
I was feeling a lot better, until around 6-7 weeks I get a swollen glands on both side of my groins.
Also I get some fever that night and feels little dizzy.
the swollen glands didn't really hurt that much and it goes away in like 3 days.
Because of swollen glands I'm thinking i must have been infected with some type of STD.
I never had swollen glands on my groins before.
At around 8 weeks, i go back and get tested again for HIV, syphilies, and herpes.
All negative again. I tell the doctor about swollen glands that i had.
He checks me and tells me it is completely gone and i'm worrying too much.
Currently during the past week, i've been still worrying and having anxiety.
Also feeling some kind of pain around my groins and thighs with some stomach pain also.
Can't stop thinking that im infected with something because of swollen glands that i had.
I will get tested again at 12 weeks.
I have few questions.
Does my symptoms sound anything like HIV symptoms?
Is rapid HIV test just as accurate as other HIV tests?
Isn't swollen glands on groins usually sign of some kind of STD?
1:1000 ratio of HIV infection through one time unprotected vaginal intercourse, is this true?
seems hard to believe.
anything else you want to tell me after reading my post, let me know.

Not at all, they are not HIV(ARS) specific.

Yes if taken beyong the window period. Your 8th weeks result is very encouraging. It is unlikely it will change when you test again at 12th week.

No.

Personally, statistical is not important. What matter is if you have unprotected intercourse than you exposed yourself to risk. Hence need to test.

You should be ok. Try to do more outdoor activities and less internet surfing....
