If you believe you have been exposed to HIV and want help to judge your risk, would like advice about HIV testing, or have questions about the effectiveness of condoms or risks associated with specific sexual practices, this is the site for you.
Hi there, I have a question about HIV testing. I went for the HIV tests 4 months after I split up with my boyfriend. I wasnt sure whether he didnt have another girlfriends. The result was negative, I know that it is safeSafe driving for teens Safe sex to believe that it is all ok. The doctor who I spoke to told me that everything is ok, and it also said negative result on the paper.
The only think I am not sure about is : what is HIV I and II T.A : ( 0.000-1.000) range ? In my test it said Hiv I and II - NEGATIVE ,300.
I was kind of thinking that it might be T cells count...in normalNormal saline flush blood reading , biochemical is the range from (1.200 - 4.000)
Hiv tests maybe use more sensitive reading ?
Thank you for the answer. It would help me start thinking positive.
Thank you Jean, I respect your answer. I know that I have to stop thinking about it, it is really stupid, especially if the doctor said that I dont have to worry about it.
I do have the last question. I had Hiv blood test done in Greece, the nurse didnt speak very good english. I told her before the test, that I had breakfast that morning. She said that it is ok, that it doesnt matter with this type of test.
Is it true that the fact that I wasnt on empty stomach, cant change the results ?
