HIV test

In 2003 I got tested in my 7 month relationship..I was in my first tri...Negative..What was the window period in 2003 for waiting period..My child was born beutiful and health..They tested my child with HIV it was Negative to...Now in 2007 I was diagnosed with Lyme disease..Know my questions are..I know the tests are different in ways, But he made a comment to me about something about the bars or something in the Lyme disease test was alittle off..But He was pretty sure that I had Lyme disese (disease)..I took the meds for atleast 2 months...I couldn't know more giving me bad thoughts  NOT GOOD...The other meds way to expensive..But he said I should be fine..My questions about the window period for the HIV in 2003 and should I be fine since my doctor didn't seem to worrie to much..
