HIV through sports, Possible?

Hi experts,

Lately I have been very curious on how HIV spreads. My query is could it spread in sports (basketball)? My early search on the Net yield mixed results though.

Scenario:
I play basketball very often, however normally in almost every game, I will get scratches. Sometimes near the eye, finger web, hands, and sometimes bleeding, sometimes not. I used to brushed it off as almost all players get these light wounds from time to time I guess. But lately due to my slight anxiety over STDs, I am not sure on whether could HIV spread via bleeding scratches. Like today, I got scratched at my ear (near the concha area), it bleed but I did not know it bled quite a bit until I reached home and showered, which is like 2 hours later (still slightly bleeding now).

Question:
1. If the other players have fresh blood wound on their nails, possible to spread the HIV via the scratch itself? As some blood could have went in the wound?

2. As I kept playing after getting bleeding scratches normally, it is possible for other players wounds (blood and sweat) to come into contact with mine. Possible for HIV to spread this way (if the other players are HIV positive)?

3. In my today incident, my ear (near the concha area) got scratched, strangely the bleeding last longer (comparing with my normal finger/hand bleeding scratch wound) and in more volume. As it is possible for other players wound (blood and sweat) came into contact with mine, is this consider a higher risk since more blood volume came out from the wound?

4. Do I need to be tested?

Will appreciate your expert comments here.

Thank you.

Quick one Vance. Does your diagnosis change (for STD and HIV transmission) if the bleeding scratches in basketball games is caused by teeth (i.e my elbow hit another player tooth and we both bleed, me from my elbow, him from his teeth/gums) and not fingernails? This does happen from time to time.

Seeking some religious therapy help to overcome this senseless anxiety and it does help little by little. Hope that one day, like you I will get to help people with anxieties like me.

Much appreciated.

As I wrote in the STD forum STD's have that name for a reason and HIV while different still requires sex or sharing needles for transmission.
