HIV worried.

Hello everyone. This is my first time posting on this website. I have a few questions i hope you can help me with. In 2006 i had a rough time in my life where i had broken up with my boyfriend of 4 years. i had unprotected intercourse (vaginally) with a few guys. (It makes me sick to stomach just thinking about it.) My last sexual encounter with one of these guys was the end of June 2006. In july 2006, i got back with my boyfriend (whom i am now married too) and became pregnant. Because of the pregnancy, as part of the exam, i got an hiv test. This was August or September 2006. That came back negative. In november 2006, i took another hiv test via mouth, to get life insurance, this came back negative also. My boyfriend took a mouth test also in december for insurance and it came back negative too. During my pregnancy i had high white blood count and the dr was concerned. I asked him if it could be hiv and he said no, that it would be the other way around (low).  I was fine, until just a week ago, i started menstruating for the first time since my son was born (about 18 months) and developed a canker sore under my tonge...in the soft area. Is it possible i can have hiv even though the tests when i took them came out neg? Did i wait sufficient time to test to see if i did have it?

Any answers would be greatly thanked. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the answers. And thanks for the congrats. A friend of the family was just buried on Saturday, he had Aids and liver disease. It just really made me worry, and then this canker sore out of nowhere really got me paranoid. Its been almost 2 years since my test, and im still paranoid, geez. So 4 or 5 months after unprotected intercourse is good enough, and getting a negative then was confirmation (just incase anyone didnt understand the long post). Sorry im being annoying, just really want to be sure. Thanks!

Would 4/5 months be enough time to have gotten a pos result? Also, are the mouth (spit) test as correct as the blood?
