Hi,
I had unprotected sex with a prostitute about 4 months ago. But I had myself tested with an HIV antibody test 3 weeks after that contact and got a negative result. Moving forward, yesterday I suffered from a high grade fever of 39.8C, body malaise, joint pains. all that have disappeared already and lasted only for 24 hours. Now I'm left with having pharyngitis. I had a cbc done yesterday as well. Wbc is high (13.4), Neutrophils high (70.5), Lymphocytes low (11.9), Eosinophils low (0.5), Monocytes high (16.5). I also had sex with a masseuse a week plus ago (with condom). Is this HIV?

Symptoms or lack of will not tell you anything about your status. The only way to know your status is by testing.
the high fever, body malaise,etc. happened just 2 days ago and 4 months from the unprotected sex. but i'm now free from those except from pharyngitis.
but basing on the facts mentioned above, is there a possibility of this as being hiv?
