HIV

Hello Doctor,

The last time I had sex was one and a half year ago, however since that sex, everytime I had a flu, rash or anything I will think that "did I get HIV?". I also had HIV test for 3 times since then and I am not affected. Right now I have a flu that have been around for more than a week, I was wondering is there any chance for me to get infected by HIV after so long? Thank you and hope tp hear from you soon.

Hi there,

Your tests result are reliable.  Unless you had any other risky exposures.

Cheers!

this is not the doctor's forum.

if you tested out to 3 months past your last exposure...then the result was conclusive and you do not have a hiv concern
