HIV...Open sore

I have had a risky exposure...also i have had a kind of sore or wounded  open skin on the underside of my penis ever since i can remember either i was born with it or it was a result of circumcision.... My question is does this type of sore/wound increase the chance of contracting hiv or does it have to be a fresh open wound?????? please reply

The reason I have not seen a doctor is because up until recently I have not been sexually active, also it has not caused any pain or discomfort ... It's approximately 1 cm and it is of lighter skin than the rest of the skin ... It also stings when applying alchohol to it which i stupidly did after the exposure.

It doesn't increase your risk. You were advised when to test to obtain your conclusive test result. So you have this sore on the underside of your penis since birth and you've never seen a doctor about it?
