HPV???

Even though I was infected with hpv, and has had the surgery to "scrap" the "pre" cancerous cells, am I still at risk for passing the (herpes) virus on to my partner. I've nerver had genitial warts or an outbreak (caught virus 5 years ago).  My partner knows that I have this virus but, as explained to me (and researched) I have the virus that can cause cervical cancer. To nursegirl...THANKS A MILLION.
