Hangnail ripped and fingering

Hangnail ripped and fingering

Hi,

Last week I visited the VIP room of a strip club. While in there, the young lady I was with put my hands inside her underwear a few times and I rubbed the outside of her genitals for minutes at a time. She licked my fingers after this. I recalled later that I had had torn a hangnail off a finger about 9 hours prior and it had bled for a few minutes at that point. My question is whether there is any chance I have been exposed to HIV?

I had a period of migraines a few days later which I've managed to convince myself was a symptom.

I also sucked on her breasts and made out with her. I'm assuming those actions don't pose any risk.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Teak,

Thanks for the prompt response. That makes me feel better. I'm wondering if the the severity of the rip might increase risk. That is to say, if ripping the hangnail off took some additional tissue with it, would the risk be higher? Or is the fact that it was no longer bleeding and had occurred several hours prior enough to rule out any potential exposure. Additionally, I'm curious if the risk is greater if the fingers actually penetrate instead of just remaining on the outside of the genitals.

Thanks in advance and thanks again.

Had you cut the end of your finger off then you might have a small concern. You will never contract HIV from fingering, protected vaginal or anal sex or masturbation, nor kissing.

Thanks again Teak. I'm curious what in this situation protects/provides a barrier against exposure? I hope this won't be considered excessive posting.

Any further insight Teak (or anyone else for that matter)? I likely don't understand well enough how HIV transmission works but I'm surprised that it would take something as severe as cutting off the finger tip to risk exposure.

Thanks

There are too many environmental factors that are hostile to HIV in your incident.  Things like oxygen, changes in Ph and temperature render HIV inactive.
