Have i got hiv symptoms or am i paranoid?

Hi i will explain my story and then ask a few questions, i would really appreciate if you can help me as i am getting very paranoid. Exactly 13 days ago i had vaginal sex with a female for 15 seconds unprotectedthen put on a condom. The girl is not a sex worker, she is my ex who u visted after 2 years were things between us happened, how ever she claums that she has not had sex with any one apart from me and was in quiet discimfort during sex as we did it after 2 years and this is probably the 5th time she has ever had sex.

But my concern starts on the 10th day were my lymph glands behind my left ear started to swell, but bare in mind that i had the pest control guy around the day before killing all spiders and stuff, this was on the thursday but at 3am on a friday i noticed a large bump on my head and thought nuffin off it and that it was a bug bite, than at 6am i felt another big lump on my scalp and a little lump on my left hand all lumps were red, i then checked my glands and realised that they were swollen on my left side i started getting so worried that i was actually sweating as hiv symptoms can we swelling of nodes as iv read.
I then went to my doctor on the same morning of friday and did not tellhim any thing about having pestiside man around or me standing in the garden in the evening when he was spraying. I showed the doctor my lumps and he said they were red and look infected, i then showed him my glands and he agreed that they were swollen he said this is due to the big bites that i have on my head.. I told him about the story with the girl who i had sex with unprotected for 15 secs and he started laugjing and said that i dont have any thing to worry about and the glands have swollen due the bites. He the prescribed me with fluxofin wich is a pencillan tabs of 500mg 4 times a day i started taking the tabs and by sunday half of the swelling had decreased.

How ever this is were i get stressed on sunday night which is yeterday we went to my uncles house who has allot of mosquito's flying around as he lives near a river. So i cam back home and went to bed but for some this mirnung i could feel another lymph node slightly swelled to less than a pea size behind my right ear which did not have any swelling before, this has worried me as i am on antibiotics and thought a new lump could not appear...?

I am a british pakistani guy and the girl that i had sex with is also pakistani and is 25 years old now we know each other from the age of 16.. I am now really worried as this new lump has turned up :-( i feel as if im going to break down, i hace asked the girl if she has anything that i need to worry about and she said NO and stated that the last time 2years ago when he had sex she got tested for the sake ofbit and all was negative. She says she has only slept witj me and became irate that i kept asking her she said i am making her sound like a ****. I hace been tested 1 year 6 minths ago and was negative for every thing.

Can you please let me know if there is an urgency for me to get tested? I have had no fever or extreame sore throat or any thing but jus a little dry cough which started today on day 14 but i do smoke aswel.

I would greatly apppreciate your response.

Thanks

N.matthews.

Post testing

The need for a repeat HIV test if still within the window period after a specific exposure should be discussed. Although fourth generation tests shorten the time from exposure to seroconversion a repeat test at three months is still recommended to definitively exclude HIV infection.

Worrying won't help now, just hope you test negative.

Is there something to worry about though?

You can obtain your conclusive test result 3 months post exposure. Symptoms or lack of will never tell you anything about your status.
