Thank God i found this site. Please sir i had sex with a girl in thailand and after finishing i went to toilet to wash my penis to my suprise the condom was not there and only the ring was there. Later at 10day i began to feel fever and chills, went to hospital and doctor told me that my glands in groin are swollen so they test for dengue fever but nothing was found. At 15day i flew back to Niger and then the fever hit me had and i came down with oral thrush. That is when   my life went through the roof and tried and get the girl through facebook and she said she tested postive for hiv and syphillis (syphilis) but she is not sick since then. At 12week i tested negetive Ab (hiv 1&2) elisa third generation. Till today i have a swollen on my neck half the size of baseball and muscle twitche all around my body. I went back to the hospital doctor told me he suspect i am infected with a strain from asia. That i should travelled back to thailand to get tested. Please sir help me what should i do? I ask for pcr and doc told me it is not yet available what they do is they retest positive result at 3month interval to make sure. Please help sir do you think i should go back to thailand.

You need to be patient. I wold answer but I don't have the confidence in the answer I would give about the strains in Asia and what Elisa would pick up.

Whatever your symptoms are they are unrelated to HIV. You have a conclusive negative HIV test.

As Teak said your test is conclusive and you do not get "symptoms" at this stage.

Sir, do you test here (NIGER) is the same. My doctor say the test here is for Africa. I remember him stating different type of hiv and says i better go fix it there.

continue to work with your doctor to find out what is wrong with you...its NOT hiv related.

the test you had was RELIABLE and CONCLUSIVE...PROVING that you do NOT have hiv.
